Hi! I’m Vana. My love and interest in people led me to study psychology and then sociology. My cycle of studies is completed with my postgraduate and doctoral studies, significantly enhancing my knowledge and experiences.

I started my professional career in 2004 as a psychologist. I have been trained in systemic family psychotherapy and have had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health environments, hospitals, private organizations and public spaces for mental health prevention, crisis intervention and social services. In each of these professional contexts, in each of these professional contexts, I supported people through counseling or psychotherapy and gained valuable experience, which shapes my work today.

My goal is to help you see things in a new way, to gain satisfying relationships with others and yourself, and to find relief from anxiety, depression, dilemmas, trauma, and other issues or internal conflicts that prevent you from enjoying a life full of positive emotions!

My aim is to develop new skills that will strengthen you and help you manage your personal issues, your feelings and improve your communication and personal relationships.

Adolescent psychotherapy

As a teenager, you may feel confused, anxious, and unsure about yourself or your relationships can lead you to depression, isolation, questioning yourself, or even blaming yourself for what’s happening in your life.

In our sessions, you will be encouraged to recognize and express your feelings. You will boost your self-confidence and relieve the tension you may feel inside you in a creative way.

You will learn to communicate effectively with friends, family, and other important people to you by discovering yourself and your personal skills, spending your adolescence life more happily.

Parent counselling

To be a parent is often the most difficult job in the world and I am here to help you. Do you have a tough teenager? Is your child having any difficulty at school? Are you divorced, are you in a second marriage, or are you having problems raising your children? These issues concern many people now and it is important to have support in dealing with them.

Working for many years with parents, but also as a parent, I can identify with the difficulties that can arise daily. This process may be difficult because you may think that you’ve already tried everything or wonder if this will help. But if you want to strengthen your parent role, and help your child grow emotionally, you can try it now!

Couple therapy

How can I improve my everyday life with my partner without having conflicts? How do we get better communication? What makes our relationship dysfunctional? Is there a perfect relationship? Can I be happy?

These and other questions concern couples who come to couple therapy.

Couples often cannot see their relationships in an objective way. In this case, the psychotherapist can help the couple to clearly see themselves within the relationship context and acquire new ways of effective communication and interaction.

I believe you already have the answers you need, and my goal is to help you find them. With couples therapy, you can have more peace and joy in your intimate relationship and family.

The greatest factor in positive change in therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. It is important to feel comfortable with your therapist.
